How can I search an image from the 1890 NYC Police Census?

Hello!

How can I search an image from the 1890 NYC Police Census? I found my ggg aunts and uncle but no other family. I suspect they were put in an orphanage after their mother died and father remarried and had more children. I thought they were among the new family, but this index tells me otherwise. There are 2 images.

GS Film number is 001305558, Image Number 0531 Page 36

Is the Library taking online orders?

    FYI

    .

As you will most probably be aware, that Film and the Other Films of the "[ New York City ] Police census, 1890" can ONLY be accessed/viewed at one of the "Family History Centres" of the Church, around the World.

    .

    FHL Film number 001305558.

    FHL Film number 001305558 _ 2.

    Now ...

    That said ...

Many "Family History Centres" of the Church, around the World are still TEMPORARILY "Closed" due to the "COVID-19" Pandemic; whereas, some of the "Family History Centres" of the Church, around the World has "Reopened".

    .

And, as the "Family History Library" (FHL) of the Church, in "Temple Square" in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA is still currently TEMPORALITY "Closed" ( to the Public ) due to the "COVID-19" Pandemic ...

    .

    As such ...

Thank you Brett, that is very helpful. I was hoping they are still working even though closed to the public.

I am in New Jersey, so yes, my center is closed and has no reopening date in mind :(

    Keri

Glad I could suggest an option.

I am from "Down Under" (Australia)

In my locale, we are lucky, our "Family History Centre" has reopened.

    Brett

ps: Have fond memories of, both, New Jersey and New York.

pps: We parked our RV at the RV Park near the Wharf.

...... Easy access to the 'Subway' and the Ferries to the Statue of Liberty.
