"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is NOT just about 'looking up' one's "Ancestral" lines (ie. Family 'Tree'/'Pedigree').
.
"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is about having (and, nurturing) one's "Ancestral" lines (ie. Family 'Tree'/'Pedigree') as "Branches" (ie. Ancestral" lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

There are well Over 1 BILLION individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

Some of those individuals/person could certainly be your Ancestors ...
.
You can certainly use the "Find" facility/function/feature in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' to see if your Grandfather, "Johnathon DURANT" ( 20 October 1908, Alabama, USA - 18 October 1994 ) is in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

You can also certainly use the "Find" facility/function/feature in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' to see if your Great Grandmother, "Alabama Curry" ( of "American Indian" Heritage ) is in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
