How do I find the name of an Anglican priest at a specific church during a specific year?
My great-great grandparents were married in 1904 by a priest in the Holy Trinity Church in Gainsborough, UK but the five different personal histories we have give him five different names (all variations of one another). Is there a way to find his actual name?
Thanks!

what are the variant names of the priest you allude to?

"Rev. Doulby"
"Reverend Canin Darby"
"Canon Dalby"
"Canin Dalby"
(The searches I've conducted were only successful through the Kelly's Directory of Lincolnshire. In the entry for Gainborough in the 1896 edition, a Reverend "Francis Higgs Dalby" was listed with the Holy Trinity Church in Gainsborough. No other priest with a similar last name appears in the other editions to which I had access nor in any other source I have found.)
