Hi Carole, I am trying to find details on Richard Roberts who married Elizabeth, They were the parents of James Henry Roberts, dob 28/1/1813 and grandparents to James Thomas Roberts, 1840. I have looked through the files you so kindly sent me but they

don't go seem to go back that far. I reckon Richard Roberts was born around 17??. Thank you Tara

Are you referring to Richard Roberts LDYH-R49, born 1776 in Barbados?

I don't think I'm the Carol who sent you a file, but I'd love to help you. Did some updating in the FamilySearch file, but did not find Richard's parents.

Thank you Carol , I believe this is the right person..His great grandson was Cyril copeland Roberts (Ibelieve), who immigrated to British Guiana, to run a sugar Plantation, Cove and John, with Indentured Labourers from India. It would be wonderful to know the Roberts ancestors..I am told they originally came from Edingburgh, Scotland . God Bless Tara
