If you can not delete a person, it is probably because: This person has multiple contributors and cannot be deleted.
Instead of deleting a person, consider the following alternatives.
- Edit incorrect data.
- Merge duplicate records.
- Remove or replace relationships.
If this person never existed, use Get Help and Contact Us to have the data removed.

Kristen,
Please send me the PID (FamilySearch ID #) of the person in question so I can better help you. Also please let me know which spouse it correct one. You can remove spouses that are incorrect, but to better explain I would like to look at the record. Thanks for the question and I look forward to helping you,
Carol

The PID is KC63-SFR the relationship that i am sure of is with James Henry Butcher LJMT-D33, the other one may be valid (James Butcher jr 9V5H-MDD) but from the sources - specifically the 1880 census. there seems to be 2 Mary Turners with different children. So the mary turner married to james henry butcher also have the parents that are listed, and the other Mary Turner from the other census i can't find any parents for. - except i can't find sources that support this Mary, with these parents, with the marriage to the James Butcher Jr.
If you can give me any help on how to separate the Mary turner out into two records with the current one connected to her parents and to James Henry Butcher that would be great.
