    Dennis's article is good. But in short:

     

    Nobody else can view what is in YOUR personal FamilySearch file. HOWEVER, you can only put records of LIVING people in your file. Any records that you create for deceased persons is visible to ANY of the millions of persons who have a FamilySearch account.
