Pictorially:

Select the "Pencil" 'Icon" for the Child, to get the "Parent-Child" Relationship.

Then, a "Pop-Up" (ie. "Modal") 'Window' will appear, being the "Parent-Child" Relationship.

Then, you have to decide which Parent you want to "Remove" or "Replace"
.
Once you have decided with Parent yo want to "Remove" or "Replace" ...
.
Select the "Remove or Replace" 'link' for the Parent you want to "Remove" or "Replace".

A new (ie. another) "Pop-Up" (ie. "Modal") 'Window' will appear, being the "Remove" or "Replace" ... [Mother or Father].

"Tick" (ie. Check) the "Check" 'Box' with the statement: "I have reviewed the relationships, sources, and notes for these individuals".

Then, decide whether you want to "Remove" (without adding a known individual/person); or, "Replace" (with a known individual/person); and, select the applicable 'Button'.

A new (ie. another) "Pop-Up" (ie. "Modal") 'Window' will appear, being, EITHER, the "Remove"; or, the "Replace", depending on the option you chose.

Add a "Reason Statement"; and, select "Remove".

Replace with the individual/person you want
