    .

It is reasonably easy to "Remove" an individual/person from you "Ancestral" lines.

    .

If you are certain that the individual/person does not belong in a particular Family; then, here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

    .

A person in Family Tree has the wrong spouse

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/a-person-in-family-tree-has-the-wrong-spouse

    .

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

    .

    I hope this helps.

    ps:

    .

    FYI

    .

    As an aside ...

    .

We do not have our OWN "Tree" in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    .

We ONLY have "Branches" (ie. "Ancestral" lines), that are interconnected, in this SINGLE "One" World "Tree", for all of us, that is "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    .

"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is NOT like other "Websites" (eg, "Ancestry_com", etc); and/or, 'standalone' personal programmes (eg. "Ancestral Quest").

    .

We DO NOT have "Private"/"Personal" 'Trees' in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' like other "Websites"; and/or, 'standalone' personal programmes.

    .

We do not even, own; or, manage; and, are NOT even responsible for, the "Deceased" individuals/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

    .

"Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' is built on a "Open Edit" Platform - hence, why any registered User/Patron can "Edit" (ie. Add, Delete; and/or, Change) ANY "Deceased" individual/person in "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.

Tiffany, Sometimes unrelated people are added to "our" lines. When we find that they are unrelated, it is most helpful to find out who their parents or spouse is, and then connect them to the right people. If we just disconnect them from "our" lines, someone else may reconnect them. However, if we connect them to their people than there is much less chance that they will be reconnected to our lines because they are connected to someone. The Familysearch program finds disconnected people and makes suggestions of possible connections. If you connect them to the right people, though, the program is less likely to suggest that they belong to your line.
