Auto Workers - Flint, Michigan

I found this interesting census record of auto workers from 1920, Flint, Michigan. Buick auto factory. There’s a note on the record stating that Buick has men shipped in by the carload, they have barracks set up in camps for them to stay in while the company helps them find permanent housing. 🤷🏻‍♀️I dont know🤷🏻‍♀️ where they had them “shipped in” from but thought it was an interesting little piece of history anyway :)

That is very interesting. If my family had been in this Buick camp, I would hope they would have been listed in the first 17 spots. 😁
