Most of my family tree lines seem completed. How can I find new names to research and do temple work

@Janet Mayer Please provide your deceased parents and/or grandparents names with their birth and death dates so someone else can check on this for you. Please include each of their FamilySearch ID#s for easier lookup if you have them.

Thanks for your response! I'm helping my grand kids find names and we keep running into dead-ends. Your idea will take us in a different direction 😊.

@Janet Mayer
You could try descendancy research. It's a lot of fun!
Here is a link to a FamilySearch Wiki article about it:
https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/Descendancy_Research
There are video and handout links at the bottom of the article. Family Tree has a Descendancy view option that helps with this. It's in the top left corner in the Family Tree.
You could also look at 'Ordinances Ready' under the Temple tab and have the system find individuals for you. I like to see who the system brings up and go to their person page and check out their family. It's good to check out the people the system finds because often there are others in their family that might need temple work too.
Feel free to message me if you'd like help trying either of these ideas.

@Janet Mayer Don't be shy about asking others her in FS Community for help on the ones you get stuck on. This Community has helped me very much!😀
