    can you be a little more specific which records you are alluding to?

     

    US immigration records?

    Yugoslavian travel records?

    Yugoslavian church records

    other?

    each one will be a unique set of records with its own indexing potential - any blanket statement about Yugoslavan records would probably be impossible to make.

    Bačvar surname in the region of Potok bosijevo Croatia my grandfather Stfepan Bačvar was a farm laborer he was very intelligent new 7 different languages school was not an option for him the family worked on a turkey farm lived there ww1 he married Mara Bacvar at 22 years old he had a chance to leave and givin an opportunity March 27 1926 bought a ticket to Canada 2 weeks before he left a man Franjo Bacvar took the in same journey Cherbourg France and entered the Port of Halifax Nova Scotia Canada from there took the train to Thunder Bay Ontario my grandfather went to Timmins Ontario Canada we're he worked in the mining industry. Canada is the most diverse country in the world it's amazing place. In Timmins Ontario Canada at one time had the largest. Croatian population my father told me all about my grandfather.respectful polite treated his family like gold and never took anything for granted.
