Short Answer: 'No', not as far as I am aware ...
.
You should try:
.
"RelativeFinder" by BYU.
.
https://www.relativefinder.org/#/main
.
That programme is "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
And, that programme has many 'Bells and Whistles' (that "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' does not).
.
.
Give it a go ... it is great.
.
There is also:
.
"Virtual Pedigree" by BYU.
.
https://virtual-pedigree.fhtl.byu.edu/login/
.
Again, that programme is "Certified" to work with "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'.
.
Give it a go too ...
.
I hope this helps.

well it does allow you to do this - just not at the distance of 30 generation.
Im not sure what the limit is - but within 10-12 generations I know you can - using the "View my relationship"
who is the person you are trying to connect to 30 generations prior?

A few people in our tree, Charlemagne (around 800AD), Atilla the Hun (around 35AD I think), come to mind. I've seen them on our tree but finding them again is time consuming and tedious. Looking for a short cut to connecting the dots and path from me to them. A quick calculation puts them back around 75 generations.

IF, the aforementioned are STILL in your Ancestral lines (ie. they have not been removed through a wayward, "Merge"/"Combine"; or, "Deletion"; or, "Unlinking"; THEN, that "RelativeFinder.org", that I previously mentioned, would be the way to go.
.
That "RelativeFinder.org" has got some great features ...
.
And, I know what you mean, one of my Ancestral lines once went ALL the way back to the beginning (and, I mean, the 'Beginning') - countless generations.
.
It was great, a good teaching tool, really used to get people interested in Genealogy/Family History again ...
.
Problem was that too many NEW and inexperienced Users/Patrons started getting involved; and, made an ABSOLUTE 'Mess' of things (putting it 'Mildly).
.
Now that that Ancestral line does not go all the way back to the 'Beginning' - ashame.
.
At one stage 'FamilySearch' has "Missionaries" trying to 'resurrect' things; but, it was so badly 'Mangled' that is was a lost cause.
.
Through "RelativeFinder", I have found out that, "Queen Elizabeth II"; and, "Joseph SMITH", the Prophet of the Church, are my "Cousins", just to name a few.

ps: Unfortunately, there are no real 'short cuts'.

I looked at relative finder and it sounded interesting. What I was not excited about were the terms saying that listed persons including those living agreed to their data being used for other purposes. But I may have a work around so will take another look.

BYU = Brigham Young University
Provo, Utah
A University that is of the Church
.
Although, of course, it is sensible to be cautious, I would not bee too worried about 'Terms' and 'Conditions' (and, 'other purposes') - it would not be for anything 'untoward' (or, 'Commercial').
.
BYU works with 'FamilySearch'.
.
It would be the same as using 'FamilySearch'; and, most probably, as safe.
.
Believe me, I am one of the cautious ones.
.
I do not not even use any of the "Websites" for 'Social Media' for meetings or webinars (etc).
.
In fact, generally, I am over cautious.
.
I have been using "RelativeFinder" and some of the other BYU programmes for a number of years now, with not (security/privacy/etc) problems/issues/breaches.
.
Just my thoughts.

OK Brett, I did it. RF is an amazing site. Found out that King of England Edward IV is our 14x Grandfather. Very cool. Thank you for the communication and encouragement.
