I was looking in the the Scotland Death Records for my father, who I found, however he is listed as Female. Who do I let know so it can be corrected?

Since most Scottish records are not available to view from home, users cannot edit the gender. It would be impossible to know if the error is in the original record or in the index.

Some records may be edited when we can view the image at a FamilySearch Center or Affiliate Library. I recently made an edit on a Scottish marriage where the groom's age was indexed incorrectly. I was at my Affiliate Library and could see the image to confirm.
