Source Linker
First, Is there a source linker specific forum?
Can anyone please help with situations like the following:
Many records, especially obituaries, list the same person, usually the deceased multiple time, usually twice. I stack those on top of each other, which the computer seems to understand, but it doesn't do it cleanly as that second entry then shows an error when the source is completed.
Now, take a look at this - the deceased person, Eric Anthony Robertson Jr. is a Jr. (junior). His son, Eric III, is listed in the obit as surviving family. His father is NOT listed in the obit.
There are FOUR entries, a full one "Mr Eric Anthony Robertson Jr 1988-1988", a "Mr Eric Antony 1988-", and Robertson Jr 1988-1988." and one correct undated for the son the III.
Source linker will not let me force the three entries on to that person, no matter how I approch it. No one was born in 1988. When it tries to force one of those onto the son, instead of tri stacking, it want to force that birth date onto the III, who so far has no birtdate.
Genealogy Bank still refuses to answer my questions regading indexing errors.

@CaptMul When asking questions about deceased people please copy-paste the user ID number to assist other users with answering the question., e.g. Eric Anthony Robertson Jr. GH3G-MFS
For GenealogyBank, I usually attach what I can attach and ignore the rest.
I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do.
The indexing errors is a known problem caused by FamilySearch Artificial Intelligence, not GenealogyBank, per this post:https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/comment/630306#Comment_630306

@Nyx773 I stand corrected. The way it is displayed is a little confusing.

That's not the correct flow…THAT is the SAME person carrying over from their sibling group to the head of their individual family.

Please send me a PM, SN, as I wanted to ask you a PM appropriate addendum, but your profile is private. And are you in NOLA, SNola? That's my paternal ancestral home, and I'm currenly on the coast…

@CaptMul I see the incorrect information. Do you see the option at the top of the page that lets you Edit the obituary index? If you do, you can probably fix the problems with the index which might help with getting the sources linked. Please check that and let me know the results.
I do get the option so I can help fix the issue if you can't fix the problems.

@FlyFisher53 You may have missed my earlier comment that I corrected the index for this obituary. The image cannot be accessed with a public account, meaning it cannot be edited.
