Is there a way to post a picture to find out who might recognize the person?

    There is no option to post a picture in Family Search for identification purposes. Memories must be tagged to someone in order for other to see it . Try Google How to identify old pictures.

    Well first of all tell us a little about the person. where did they live. when?

    what do you know about the picture/person

    Then you can focus your post to a specific time and place and people researching that area. Please provide a little background so we can better help you.

    Unfortunately I don’t know much. I thought I had saved it but I guess not. I Don’t know the woman’s name nor the date or where she’s from. I believe she was related to my grandmother.

    well, if you believe she is related to your grandmother - then consider uploading the photo to a memories item for your grandmother's FamilySearch Familytree profile

    and add a comment letting people know you are trying to identify the woman.

    this way your query is focused directly on those people that will most likely possibly know

    (people who visit the FamilyTree profile of your grandmother)
