Is anyone having problems with records being removed from their sources by Family Search?
Working on my ancestral lines in Staffordshire area of England. Recently many records attached as sources to my ancestor files have been removed. As well many of the "Research Help" hints display the message - "This record has been removed". Is anyone else having this problem?

Unfortunately, it is NOT a problem/issue ...
.
It is something that "FamilySearch" is DOING as a matter of course ...
.
"FamilySearch" is "Removing" what "FamilySearch" considers are SIMILAR, almost (but, not quite) "Duplicate", (and, therefore, unnecessary) "Sources" ...
.
Some Users/Patrons are NOT happy with such ...
.
But, it seems that that is the way it is ... like it or not ...
.
Initially, I think, that this started with the "1881, Census of England and Wales"; and, then, went onto the "1851, Census of England and Wales", some time ago now ...
.
Now ... such is being extended to other such "Sources" ...
.
The funny thing is that (many of) those "Sources" for "1881 and 1851, Census' of England and Wales" that WERE previously "Removed", have now been REINSTATED - go figure.
.
You may find that there is a SIMILAR, almost (but, not quite) "Duplicate", "Source" for the ones that have been "Removed" ALREADY attached to the individual/person - if NOT you will have to find it and attach it.
.
I am sorry to be the bearer of 'sad tidings' ...
.
Personally, I wish "FamilySearch" would NOT "Remove" such "Sources"; especially, those ALREADY attached to an individual/person ... I DO NOT care if they are SIMILAR, almost (but, not quite) "Duplicate", "Sources" - 'the more the merrier'.
.
This matter has been the subject of many posts in the "FamilySearch" ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum for a number of years now.
.
It looks like that, whether we like it or not, SIMILAR, almost (but, not quite) "Duplicate", "Sources" ARE going to be "Removed" (from the "System"), even those that are ALREADY attached to individuals/persons.
.
Such is life ...
.
I know that this does not help; but, I hope that this gives you some perspective.
