Can someone explain the purpose of the custom sort and how it works?0 -
Sure. Let me explain.
You can now organize ALBUMS into custom orders.
-Go into any Album. Click the "Edit" button at the top of the Album page.
-You can then arrange your memories in a custom order that will be saved within your Album. Just drag, drop, then save changes.
Once you have your Album set to a custom order, you can then play with the "Sort" button in your Album. You can quickly change your Album to arrange itself into "Date Added," "Place," etc…but then you can also switch it back to your custom order.

thats nice
but truth is I have never - reordered my album - didnt know I could - so this option was very confusing
and I have to think is just as confusing to most people - who like me didn't know we could custom order.
and if I never actually did a custom order - what does it default to? cause the custom order - doesnt seem to match anything else
I love the ability to change order
but the way it is currently being presented - just causes confusion for people that dont know how to custom order their album in the first place - and yet the option still shows - and makes it look like some sort of random order.0
