Clarification on full name review

While doing full name reviews, A name will be partially selected (B. Smith which should be A.B. Smith) After correcting you now have two Given Name blocks (First block will have A. B., send block will be empty and then Surname block will have Smith. My question is do you separate A. and B. into the two Given name blocks?? If you separate them, When you click NEXT, it still puts them together in GIVEN NAME block.
