Good day. Recently my grandfather died, though on family search he is still listed as living. How do I update this?

To change a relative's status from living to deceased in Family Tree, follow these steps in the mobile app:

    1. Open the Family Tree mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the profile of the person.
    3. In the Vitals section, tap Death.
    4. Tap Deceased.
    5. Enter the date and place of death and the reason that the information is correct.
    6. Tap Save.

To change a relative's status from living to deceased on a computer, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the profile of the person in Family Tree.
    2. In the Vitals section, click Death.
    3. Click Deceased.
    4. Enter the date and place of death and the reason that the information is correct.
    5. Click Save.

This will update the person's status to deceased in Family Tree.
