The death date 30 Novembre 1797 is the day the person actually died and the Death Registration is the day the event was communicated to the local record-keepers, usually government officials or church.

Hello @Kim-N-Charlene,
In the body of Marie Catherine Gavelle's death record it states she died on the 6th of Frimaire in year X [=10] of the French Republic at 5:00 pm. She was eighty years old at the time of her death.
Her death was recorded the next day on the 7th of Frimaire in year 10.
None of the dates in the image your provided are correct.
The date 6 Frimaire X converts to 27 November 1801, which is the correct date of death.
My assumption is that whoever originally converted the date assumed the death occurred on 7 Frimaire X, which was the date her death was recorded.
Hopefully this answered your question.

So, I'm looking through both of this feedbacks. So is the correct year 1797 or 1801. So it wasn't recorded for a whole year? I'm not sure where the 1801 is coming from? Charlene

The correct year of death is 1801. I have no idea where the year 1797 or the year 1798 come from.
The following dates are all incorrect:
Source Date: 28 November 1801 = incorrect date.
Death Date: 30 Novembre 1797 = incorrect date.
Event Date: 30 Novembre 1798 = incorrect date.
