Is it a good thing that they are going to change the merge experience?

I liked the old merge experience better than the new one because, for me at least, it is more confusing to have all the comparison information on one page. If the analysis is in understandable steps than I think we can more easily make accurate merges. I do not believe that the new merge experience accomplishes that. I have merged ancestors using both methods.

    @Bethany2270 thank you for your feedback. Yes, at some point in the near future the merge tools will be changing. Here is a link to a discussion that has links to webinars that take an in-depth look in to merging.

    Please let me know what you think of the webinars :)

    @Bethany2270 Thanks for the feedback.

    We are working on refining a few things. Would you be willing to meet with us and see some changes we have been working on?

    Thanks!

    I know it has been said on other threads, but I hope you will change the reasons given for merging. The choices don't always (actually rarely) fit. For example, the birth date might be the same but the places not.

    I really prefer the old, more generalized statements where you choose one and then elaborate in the comments if needed.
