why are several of my personal photos being rejected-restricted

I scanned and uploaded a large number of photos, this afternoon. Strangely they are telling me that too many of them are 'restricted'. These are personal, family, and my own snapshots (Not copy righted nor professional) of relatives and very few that are living, some are mixed with living and deceased. I clicked the link trying to research a reason and got a strange reply: "that they're not able to tell me why although they upload tons of images" ……the images are of all ages and many large groups but even the individual shots seem to not make any sense why they would be restricted. An image of my own grandmother (nearly 100yrs) sitting in a chair or a couple little boys playing outside-hummm? I spent so much time and energy that I'd like to be able to label and attach them, all. I'll further need guidance as to what to avoid the next time I try to upload. Please give me more guidance in this matter.

Thank You, Debby C.

    When photos are uploaded, they are scan by computer and marked restricted in some cases. You should receive an email about them. Simply reply to the email and ask that photos be rechecked. They will be looked at and in many cases, accepted. Look for an email from family search, remember to look in junk or trash.

    @meldebby3

    If you have not already done so, it would be worth checking the FS memory upload policy here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/what-rules-apply-to-uploading-memories-to-familysearch-org

    plus:

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/can-i-add-memories-about-my-living-relatives-to-family-tree

    (which is linked to at the bottom of the above policy link).

    The initial check is done by a computer algorithm which frequently flags photos which are actually compliant with the policy. As @Wayland K Adams says, by replying to the email you'll get, you can ask for a human to check again/un-restrict photos that are in fact compliant.
