Seeing a glitch in the source linker/indexing of parents
https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/linker?ark=/ark:/61903/1:1:VHP6-CZW&id=2SDC-331 is a link to the North Carolina, Birth Index, 1800-2000. I have had 3 different records where the father is a female and the mother is a male that won't let you correct it and stay corrected. Is it a source linker issue or an indexing issue?

It's an indexing issue. The source linker shows that the two sources from that example record you posted are linked correctly to the correct people. It just has trouble showing that because of the indexing error. There isn't anything you need to do unless you want to go in and correct the indexing if possible.
However, generally indexes that do not have images, as is the case here, cannot be edited:
So there is not anything else that can be done at this point.

@LSeger I have sent this to someone who I think can fix it. It appears to be an indexing error.

@LSeger Hello, what the other missionary found was that the Index comes from Ancestry.com so we can not fix it. If you go to Ancestry and fix it there, it may show up correct on FamilySearch but I can't guarantee that.
Have a good day!
