After clearing my optional cookies and my browser history, I am still getting Oops messages. Help?!
A couple months ago, I called FamilySearch, who told me my computer was just too old to use with FamilySearch now. At that time, I was unable to make appointments for the temple and view family members on the Person View. That finally was corrected magically after a few weeks. Now I cannot attach any records, do a Seach, do a Find, or use any of the tabs without the Oops Message appearing that never goes away after refreshing a page. Do I have to beg one of my children to buy me a new computer now, who may never be able to afford to buy a home now? The point is: I attach hunderds of records to my ancestors each year to try to prevent duplicate temple work being done through Ordinances Ready, because only a few members check to see if the ordinances offered there are actually duplicates. I am always the biggest contributor to my family tree each year, since you have been keeping records on us. Most of us that have the time each day to improve our ancestors' information, do so because we lack the funds, companions, etc. to go on senior missions in our retirements, so we spend hours each day on FamilySearch and doing temple work. Luckily I can make temple appointments again, but for 2 months I had to just hope that when I showed up to the Jordan River temple, I would be able to do an endowment and 4+ sealing sessions that day, if I went in the afternoons when the temple is least busy. I just gave up on doing baptisms and initiatories. ( I do not have any old enough grandchildren or children that will do baptisms now.) I cannot afford the gas to go to the temple more than 3 times each week and still afford to eat, pay my utilities, and my property taxes. So, would you please tell those young, rich IT people that, so the work of the Lord can also be done by the poor members of the Church, who have limited resources, but who still have a few years left before they are disabled to the point that they cannot physically get to the temple or think clearly enough to use FamilySearch? Thanks for listening.
Sincerely,
Sister Carol S. Welty
(information removed) (I do not regularly go to my temple, (information removed) because I cannot do multiple ordinance sessions the same day there efficiently.)

@CarolWelty1 and others who may have similar problems in the future:
Looking at
FamilySearch only supports its websites on the current and most recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox, and the current and most recent operating system versions. This will mean in practice that changes are likely to have been tested only in these environments.
If your browser and/or operating system doesn't meet the requirements at the above link, the most likely scenario is that the functionality that is failing has been changed and now uses browser technology in a way that is not supported on the software you are currently using.
You could try testing on a different browser.
If that doesn't help, I am afraid you're unlikely to be able to use this functionality without upgrading your operating system and/or browser to supported levels. It may be that your hardware will support such an upgrade, or sadly it may not.
