Find A Grave Index on FamilySearch

I have found thousands of Find A Grave memorials in FamilySearch using the Search, Records, Find A Grave Index, More Options, Add Record Options, Affiliate Record Identifier, with great success. I currently have a memorial # that cannot be accessed through that process. Memorial #278231132 cannot be accessed. His parents both have memorials that can be found using this method. Father's memorial #98571045.

I contacted Find A Grave and they stated it was a problem within FamilySearch.

The memorial ID that you cannot find in the FamilySearch collection relates to a person who died early this year (2025). I would assume that the FamilySearch index has not yet been updated to include the most recent entries. I cannot find an entry for him by searching by name within the collection either.

On the other hand, the citation for the collection has a very recent timestamp. Maybe a moderator could comment.

@rebeccajoanperry1 Do you know when the memorial was submitted to Find A Grave? Looking at the two memorial numbers (98571045 and 278231132), the latter would be more recent. Find A Grave regularly submits an index of new memorials to FamilySearch which are added on the next update so there is usually a bit of lag time before they appear in the database.
