Why are the FS Wiki links to existing FS collections of county taxes missing?
I am researching in Kentucky again and have noticed in the FS Wiki that existing collections of FS films and digital images of county taxes are no longer shown, (Mercer and Garrard Counties). I now have to go back to the catalog through the locality search to access them.
To an unsuspecting or unfamiliar patron using the FS Wiki, it would appear that no films or digital images resources are available to a very important category of records that FS has!
I finished my first certificate in Family History Research at BYU-Idaho in December 2024 and it was drummed into our brains to ALWAYS use the FS Wiki FIRST. It was great advice and I have changed my ways! I promote the wiki as often as I can as I serve in our FS Center and my calling as a consultant.
What gives to change the wiki in this way?

@SamSilvey We are not sure as to why Wiki changed this way. Do you have a thought as to why they would do this? If you have a suggestion or comment as to why Wiki pages needs to go back to the old method or maybe a new one, you can submit your recommendations by going to the area that appears on the left side of the Wiki page.
This will take you to a page with a submission form for your use.
However, why bother going to the specific record and walking through each individual page when you can search for a name through Full Text Search and limit the results to the specific collection, location, and time period you are interested in? No more page-by-page searching.
