Could some one help me to understand the structure of Archion for a Germany Genealogy Research
Hi, I want to close the gap between the information that I have regarding my family in Germany. The last names that I am researching are Schwarck from Wilster and Röwe from Wismar. Could some one guide me on how to use the Archion account in order to find the records of my relatives back them in 1847 and 1854. Thanks!

@Mari9034 You can search Archion for free. But if you want to see the entry and obtain a copy, you'll have to pay for it. And not all protestant parishes have been digitized. For catholic parishes you need another site.
Now for Wismar: Go to location search and type wisma (not wismar!). You'll then see a few churches there, pick one and click church books. You now see the available books (in German). If you want to see the digital copy, you now need to pay.
Nothing has been indexed, so searching and finding is not very easy.

To use Archion, I recommend the FamilySearch “How to Guide” (HTG). From the FamilySearch home page, select “Search” > (drop-down menu) “Research Wiki” > in the Search window, type “How to guides” > under “Accessing the Guides” select “Europe” > from drop-down menu, “Germany” > search for “Archion”. You can open/download the “Instruction, Activity, Answer Key” sections (this is a standard “How to guide “ format. The Insruction is a five-page .pdf file, with a one-page (each) Practice Activity and Answer Key for the activity. They are easy instructions to understand and show how to do the Activity. Note: for all “HTGs, there will be questions such as “How many church districts in the Evangelishlutherischen Hannover archive have digital images”? The actual answer from the current Archion website may vary slightly (usually a higher number) since some HTGs were written years ago and the webistes have added new information/localities/indexes, etc.

I understand how helpful those images can be for your research. Unfortunately, Please do not request for others to provide or share restricted images from FamilySearch or other custodial entities through our FamilySearch Community. These restrictions are in place to honor agreements and other laws. Copyright issues may be involved.
If you’re able to visit a FamilySearch Center or an authorized affiliate library, or partner organization you may be able to access them there.
