Husband has passed away.
My husband just passed away 3 months ago. I went into the website today to enter his death info and change him from living to deceased. I'm getting an error stating I as his wife, cannot make this change. I am the one who created his account, and my own account. I have logged into his account and it will not save my change. I tried the same thing from my account with the same result.
I'm sure I'm not thinking straight on this, could someone remind me how to do this please.

May I offer condolences on his passing.
A limitation in Family Tree is that you cannot declare yourself deceased. Therefore you cannot go into your husband's account and mark him deceased. You will have to request that an administrator contact you and put the information on for you.
However, if you are in your account and have a copy of your husband's profile there (it will have a different ID number than his profile under his account) you should be able to mark that duplicate as deceased without any difficulty. This would be good to do because you can also put a source for his passing such as a newspaper notice or an obituary then when the administrator asks you for documentation that he is deceased, you can point them to that duplicate profile.
After the administrator marks the profile under his account deceased, then you can merge the two copies of his profile, the duplicate under your account and the profile under his account, have just one profile for him.
