I am new here. When I click on family tree & tree I see a small tree already…but it has the wrong people for my grandparents. How do I fix this?

    Welcome, @Julie Garretson
The FamilySearch tree is fully open-edit - anyone signed in with their free account can make changes.

I recommend taking it slow at first. There are videos and help articles covering almost every imaginable topic. I suggest you read or watch a few of those before working on the tree.

There may be other people with the same names, living about the same time, in the same place. We see that often.

This is a basic article on connecting and correcting relationships. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/connecting-and-correcting-relationships-in-family-tree

If you have specific questions, please include the PID (the alphanumeric code near the name) of the deceased person or persons, and we can try to help.

Again, welcome, and good luck with your research.
