New here and have some questions...
Hi…I am new here and I am hoping that my questions can be answered. I am attempting to locate the family members of a young woman who went missing in 1981. I have her name, birthdate, and "death" date (although she was never found). I have searched the internet as thoroughly as I know how and the usual websites such as Web Slueths, the Charlie project etc. I have not been able to find any further information. I do know where she was last seen and the neighborhood where she and her family lived in 1981.
Hopefully someone might have some suggestions as how to further my search. Thanks in advance for any help.

Although this Community is "FamilySearch," we don't look for the living. For reasons of personal privacy, we don't mention the names of anyone living or possibly living.
Groups such as the Search Angels focus primarily on adoptees and birth families, using DNA and other tools. Are you familiar with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System? That might be of use to you.

Hi Aine, I appreciate your response. I am familiar with NamUS yes. However, I am not attempting to find the young woman who went missing in 1981. To be honest I would assume she is deceased. Quite possibly foul play involved. I would not expect anyone to use real names here and you may have noticed I did not post her or her family's name and I will not either.
My search is for her surviving family members (siblings, parents etc). I am interested in finding internet sites that might facilitate that search. That's all. No personal information. Again, thank you for your reply.
