@RU467 Are these Read-Only profiles that you want to edit? You'll need the assistance of Support. Tagging @Ashlee C. to help if that is the case.

@RU467 I can't see any indication that these are read-only profiles, what is the exact error message you are getting when you try to add the sources? And which route are you using to add them - Source Linker, Source Box, ...?

@RU467 Those records don't match those people.

Must admit I didn't even look at the Records first time round, but they clearly could relate to the same family, can you give the OP a bit more detail please?
(Just for the avoidance of doubt, I had to change the Record URLs above from =ru to =en as I don't read Russian.)

@RU467 The image you posted is of the Source Linker.
When I open those profiles and attempt to attach the record, I see no Lock icon. If you are logged in, with your FamilySearch account, the issue may be with your current location. There are sometimes limitations about what areas of the world can access records or the FamilySearch tree.

If you don't mind, click the purple arrow; the son's record will be attached to the father's branch.
I don't have that option. There's another Parodi, a cousin, who also has a record of the eldest son's death; it also needs to be attached to the father's branch. Thank you.0 -
@RU467 Please look at the parents. They don't match! Also his family name and birthyear are not the same. These are two different Silvio's.
Therefore this record should not being attached to him in this way.

I didn't attach for that very reason. I don't know this family, and I don't have time to research in depth.

Good example of common names / common name combinations. It is important when sourcing - not to 'force' the source to fit to the existing information. See what @Lars van Ravenzwaaij notes above.
I can't remember how many Un-Merge projects I have worked on that conflated people together because of common names. Key indicators of problems: multiple wives w/ different kids with overlapping birth years. Different residence locations on the same Census year. Two sets of parents may indicate a merge at some point in the past as well (if not marked as Step, or Adopted).
When filling out Residence entries in Details, I like to add occupation if noted, as well as house address. This also helps track a person over time, or confirm one John Smith over another.
