Results for image search don't load properly. "Loading" icon keeps spinning. Have the most recent Edge version and a newer laptop purchased in Jan 2020 (Windows 10). This process worked for awhile then the problem started. Firefox browser works fine.

The "Browser" of 'Microsoft' "Edge" has more problems/issues and does not seem to be as stable with "FamilySearch", than do the "Browsers" of 'Google' "Chrome"; and, 'Mozilla' "FireFox" - this has been referenced many times in the "FamilySearch" ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum.

    .

There was a recent post in the "FamilySearch" ("GetSatisfaction") 'Feedback' Forum of ONLY 20 Hours ago that referenced the "...spinning spoke..." with 'Microsoft' "Edge":

    .

I was a user of 'Microsoft' "Edge" with "FamilySearch", some years ago; but, switched to 'Google' "Chrome"; and, have never looked back. I occasionally use 'Mozilla' "FireFox" when the need arises (usually, when we are working on, both, my wife's; and, my, accounts in tandem).

    .

I have tried 'Microsoft' "Edge" a couple of times since; but, it is no longer a "Browser" that I would use/recommend.

    .

Personally, if I were you, I would give 'Microsoft' "Edge" a 'wide berth'; and, use, either, 'Google' "Chrome"; or, 'Mozilla' "FireFox", with "FamilySearch".

    .

Your choice; but, I have been at this for some time.

    .

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett,

Thanks, that makes sense. I'll switch to Firefox with FamilySearch. It's funny, I have another 9 year old laptop that runs Windows 7 (now unsupported) with Chrome. FamilySearch works just fine on it. Makes you wonder some times...

    Thanks again

    Pat

Certainly does ... sometimes, no rhyme or reason.

ps: But, newer does not always mean better ...
