Who Raised Rev John Atwood of Cleobury Mortimer - Orphaned at Age Nine

I am researching Rev John Atwood, orphaned at age 9 in 1722, son of Dr Thomas Atwood and Catherine Bridgen, of Chaddesley Corbett/Bridgnorth. His father’s will named executors to look after the estate until John reaches the age of 21, but no guardian. Does anyone have information, documents, or theories about who may have raised John or acted as his guardian? No formal guardianship records have been found. Any insights or family lore appreciated!
