Memories adding two entries to each person
Memories adding two entries to each person: one with just pid and that is on top, with another one with name, which is below and unseeen unless you open the carrot ^. If you could just reverse them so the name shows on the top without opening the ^ I would be happy. But right now I am not a happy camper!
This issue had been going on for quite a while. I was told previously that I should use the full name when beginning the tag, instead of the pid. This did not solve the problem.
Is there some way you can put this at the top of your list….save my sanity! My husband says thanks

@Pat Lowe, Are you seeing something like this? The first tag is collapsed (caret points downward) and the second is expanded (caret points upwards).
The fact that we see two instances of the name "William Edward Ferrell" is not an indication that "Memories [is] adding two entries to each person." Rather, the upper instance is the name of the tag, and the lower instance is the tree person (profile) that is connected to the tag (or if the tag is not yet connected to the Tree, it will have a button that allows you to attach it to a tree person). In most cases they will be the same, but there are cases where they are not. In any case, if this is what you are seeing, you don't need to worry — it's working properly, and there is only one actual tag.
Note that if you are using Family Group Trees, then there may be more than one profile listed as connected to a particular tag; one might be designated as "Private Person" and another with the name of a Family Group Tree.
