I am going through my grandmothers items and have come across numerous obituaries. I would like to post scanned images of them and link them to the appropriate person. Would you have a suggestion on how to do this?

The way I do this is to scan as a PDF document, load them to my gallery. Once in the gallery, you can specify who is in the obituary. The other option after you load them to your gallery is to make a source.

Go to the particular individuals Source Tab and click on Add Source then select the 'Add New Memory Source'. Fill in the blanks for Date and add appropriate title, e.g. 'Times Herald' obituary, Thursday, Page 9 — Martha Jones

Next you'd click on the Upload Memory button which will allow you to navigate to and select the scanned image.

I personally like to include key 'bits' in the Notes field. Then select any appropriate Vital Tag, such as Name, Death, Burial etc. Followed by Save.

Be aware that this obituary will be listed in your Source Box which will allow you to add the obituary to any individuals mentioned in the image [spouse, children, siblings etc etc]
