Are you referring to pictures you are trying to add as "Memories" to Family Tree? Otherwise, you will need to provide a little more detail about the problem, in order to get appropriate advice.

Perhaps you are talking about seeing portraits in the Landscape or Portrait tree views. If so, you can click the Options button in the upper right; there you'll see one of the options is to show portraits. Make sure that option is turned on.
