A.I. understanding

please, can explain to me in detail how A.I. works? I am really struggling with records from the Philippines because over half of the records are indexed incorrectly. Making priests bio fathers, making bio fathers the godfather, etc. I have a young lady that had an illegitimate child, the record itself said unknown father but A.I. said the father was Don Bernardino Sampson- he was the priest that oversaw that certain province. When I tried to change the father to unknown, it wouldn’t allow me to because no one “indexed” that answer for an option. Is this a problem with “reviewing”. I’ve been helping my daughter in law with her family. Her tree was a mess. It has taken me forever to fix it and to add notes to all her family to read before they merge.

@erikaruppe1 You may want to check out an Upcoming Webinar on 18 Sep. Sounds like you have a pretty specific issue so may not directly address what you are hoping to learn, but may have some good background info

I found this RootsTech video (104) Advances in Computer Automated Indexing of Historical Records - YouTube really informative about how FS approaches Computer Assisted/Aided/Automated Indexing and how AI fits in - it really gets into the detail.
