I am placing a copy of a post from General Questions to this group - perhaps users have answer.

@Judy Smith_12

I am unsure what has happened with access to the 1930 Mexico Census.

@SerraNola Can you look into this? Did something break?

Access via catalog links: https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/catalog/1307314

Or waypoints: https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/image/index?owc=https%3A%2F%2Ffamilysearch.org%2Frecapi%2Fsord%2Fcollection%2F1307314%2Fwaypoints

always seem to lead to "Images Restricted"

I don't think this is a contractual issue, or is it? The images are all available on Ancestry.

Did something go awry with the retirement of waypoints?

I'll copy this post to this group:  https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/115-latin-american-and-caribbean-research

Thank you!

    Mexico and a few other latin American Coutries have eneacted a 100 year privacy right on all its records. So the 1930 records will not be available until 2030, That means they are also not available at the family History Centers Either
