Help - Is this Record Possibly Linked to the Wrong Collection?
I am trying to view the image of a German church record, specifically the marriage of Peter Krill & Solame Weber in Erfenbach, Kaiserslautern, Pfalz, Bayern, Deutschland. The indexed record link is here:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J4YR-VYZ
When I click on the "Check Image Availability", I get the message that I will need to Browse the Film. Fair enough.
When I go through the film, it consists of:
- Written index of births, marriages and deaths from 1764-1804
- Baptisims from 1798-1804
- The Die Nachkommen Karls des Großen or Descendants of Charlemagne
- Several Military Conscription collections
I cannot find anything that is close to the image of the above marriage record.
I am I missing something or could the collection link be wrong?
Thanks,
Paul

It is possible the Index is not yet linked tot he specific item as of yet, but will be hooked up as they get to the information. I tried going page by page and tried to understand the system used, but was not able due to not speaking German enough to actually read it. The formatting for the book changed back and forth often. The only way is to go page by page and find the info you are looking for. I would also suggest taking this to the Germany Research group for better help in understanding the documents.

@PaulBradyPA I have found at least four other films from this collection that had the wrong index attached. I believe you are correct that the marriage record you are seeking is not found on DGS #7724710. With the others I was able to find the correct film, but unfortunately I am coming up empty on this one. It could have been indexed wrong or the correct film has been labeled and catalogued wrong. Sorry I can't be of more help.
