@Pat Lowe has posted:

For the past week I have had problems with tags not showing up in the side bar properly. There is an extra name there that should not show. See Amos Watts GWFD-F2Q. His obituary shows him tagged but it does not show the pid as it should. I have called the support line and nothing they suggest will fix the problem. I do a lot of sources, but this problem has soured me on the process. Please fix it fast!

Here is one I tried tonight. Robert L Allison, obituary 23 April 1957, Miami Daily Newsin memories of Robert Leroy Allison L21K-6JR

About half tags were incomplete. The ones without names, just pid numbers

I added them all the same way, I know it is not anything I am doing wrong or different. There is something wrong with the system. I have added thousands of memories and only recently had this problem.

    @Pat Lowe

    I tried the last PID you referenced…..here is what happened for me.

    When I first access the Memory, here is what I see for about half-a-second….I believe this is what you mean by the tags being "incomplete."

    BUT, the page then jumps to this screen……which shows a more correct version of the tags.

    So. I have a question and some thoughts:

    -Do you only see the first, limited version, or do you see the second, more complete version? If you see the limited version, can you please provide me with details on what browser/operating system/etc, that you are using? I need to share that with an Engineer.

    -Regardless of what you see, if you click the "gear wheel," you will notice in the pop-up box that several of the "Tag Names" don't match the version in the right side-bar. (ex: Leslie Tilden Stamm is different in the pop-up box, where he is Leslie Stamm / ex: Tommy Richard Allison is referred to only as the PID #).

    I think the TAG NAMES are the actual problem.

    @Pat Lowe

    Still regarding your issue….here is a bit more information on the tag-name problem:

    The engineers recently made some changes to the UI (User Interface), which now means you will see original versions of these tag names, some of which will not be correct.

    Unfortunately, the Engineers also had to close down the page that allowed you to fix tag names (they are re-writing very old code). So fixing your problem with tag names might take a while.
