Do we need to deselect areas that focus on periods, commas, ect.?

I see it a lot on the documents where it has selected a period or comma specifically. I see it where other people have mentioned that they remove this, but is that how its supposed to be?

When a period or comma is the only thing highlighted in a name, I click on 'not a person' in the useless hope that the AI will stop creating boxes for those. Those are not names. And the actual names will always come up later if they haven't already. But when parts of the name are highlighted and so are all the periods, I don't bother deleting the period highlights. You'll have extra boxes once the whole given name is in the given name box, but the instructions say:

Do I have to fill every text box?

    • No, the text boxes are there to help you move the highlights to the right sections. As long as the text is in the right order and location, it will be combined in step four.
