Error 15
I have been using Firefox on my old iPad. And now on my new iPad for the last almost 2 years. I have the FS app, but use Firefox for certain things including accessing the Community. Suddenly, a few days ago I got the Error 15 page when trying to log in. No, Firefox on Apple does not have extensions, I’ve cleared history, I’ve updated the iPad, date and time is correct. Uninstalled and downloaded fresh copies of Firefox twice, now, thereby erasing all history, and losing all my bookmarks. It works on all other browsers, but not Firefox. It is my favorite browser for all my genealogy sites, would rather not change. Still getting the same error on the login page. Not sure that I buy that some new error cropped up on a recommended browser with this error 15 thing. Any way ICan fix this? The page the error 15 page links to is for Windows, does me no good on an iPad.

For your iPad settings, is there a Privacy and Security setting, followed by a Local Network or a Firewall setting? (Or equivalent?) There might be a firewall setting that got updated on the sly. I suppose the other test that you can try is to see if connecting to other things that want a login, still work.

Yes, I am able to log in other sites with no problem on Firefox. iPad has in settings, Privacy & Security, then Local Network. In that, there are 4 apps listed, but not Firefox. But that has not changed.
