Useless email notification?

Earlier today; I received an email notification from FamilySearch.

Your relative may be listed in a record collection.

The email included a link to this 1860 "Bevolkingsregister" for Francis Slenders.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QG26-L7FS

The document was already attached to Francis Slenders (2DTG-47W) on 28-Jun-2020.

Why does FamilySearch send me this useless notification?

It's an automated routine, and it doesn't know if you have attached that record or if you have visited FamilySearch in the last 5 years.
You can turn those notifications off. https://www.familysearch.org/en/identity/settings/notifications
