Why doesn't the ignor suggestion button ever work?
It looks like it is going to work, but then it says to retry. Help please

I just tried it on several suggestions and all of them dismissed after offering the reason why. Can you send a copy of the page with the issue for us to see, we will then be better able to determine the issue.

Good afternoon: If you are on the main page for FamilySearch and at the Records Hint
When you click on the specific Hint you will see
If you hit the IGNORE button you should see this.
You might possibly then be receiving an error message showing: "There was a problem ignoring this Hint. Try again later".
The hint will continue to show here until you refresh the page, but then it will be removed from the Hints list. However it does not remove the Hint from the Person Page Research Help. It only ignores it from the Record Hints on the main page.
So you will still see the Hint on your person page until you review it and decide to accept or "not a match". I hope this helps with your issue.
I am sending the error message issue up the line to see if someone will be able to look into that part.
