Deleting tree.
How do I remove all of my information and my direct tree from Family Search?
I am fed up with other users merging completely incorrect information and people.
The latest merge (which now cannot be reversed) has hugely changed all of my years of hard work.
Enough is enough and I want out.

As just another user who is in charge of nothing, I can tell you that to quit using FamilySearch you just go to your account settings and delete your account.
You cannot delete your information and your direct tree from Family Search because once you have freely given that information to Family Search, it is no longer yours (this is very clearly spelling out in the terms of use) and because you do not have a direct tree on Family Search. We users do not create trees. We only add to FamilySearch's tree. If there are a few profiles for which you are the only contributor, you can delete those but if any other user has worked on them, you cannot.
All merges can be reversed. If no changes have been made to the profile after the merge, then the Undo option is available which returns both profile back to their pre-merge state. If changes have been made, then you have to use the Restore button found on the deleted profile to restore the deleted profile and then removing all the information and family relationships created by the merge from the surviving profile. After ensuring that both profiles are then full repaired, it is important to try to figure out why they were merges incorrectly and put enough information and documentation on both profiles so they will not be merged again.
If you would like advice about how to reverse the merge you mentioned, post the ID of the surviving profile here.
