In Describe the record you have found source title need to be Obvious
Hello FamilySearch Source team,
When I need to attach to tree a record, then a source title (Required) FamilySearch put the citation of information that we see on the record himself.
Wouldn't it be better to simply include the civil status information? This would allow the user to see more quickly what the source is. Because it's not easy to quickly find the source with the propose Source Title (Required) which is repeated in the citation in the information of the record.
Here is a exemple of a source title (Required)
Canada, Quebec, Catholic Parish Registers, 1621-1979; https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QSQ-G99S-J2S4?cc=1321742&wc=HCCX-T38%3A23247601%2C23247602%2C23591501
It would be better to have only baptism, burial or marriage.
What do you think?

Records like that could have baptism, burial or marriage records on the same page — in fact the page you posted does have that. The system can't tell which specific entry on the page is the reason the record is being attached. Besides, editors can change the source title when they attach it.

Sorry I thing I was not enough specific.
When we go to a source, the first thing we should see it's the kind of sources. It's should be easy to know what to expect to find before clicking on the link of the source.
But it's not the case now. The title is not obvious that why I post this request.
Now we must clic on the source to know what is the source. I think it's should be better if users see the kind of source like Baptism instead of some thing like that: Canada, Quebec, Catholic Parish Registers, 1621-1979;
which is automatically suggest by FamilySeach and are not obvious for user.

You can edit it. The contributor who originally attached could have edited it.

I know that we can edit it. But the title source must describe the source which is not the case. That is the thing we can improve.

This likes a logical suggestion. I would send it to FamilySearch Suggest an Idea and then the appropriate people will have an opportunity to adapt the idea if it is a good one.

I agree with RTorchia - I think you're expecting the system to be able to interpret what is in the record. A human will always be better able to do that.

Parish Records don't usually separate categories; that is, everything done at the parish goes onto the same page for that day/month/year until the page is full, then it continues

Sorry , I can give you an exemple from a title of a book. Normally the title of a book give us a good idea of what we can read in the book. I think that a title of a source should do the same. It's not the case with the suggested FamilySearch title when we link the source of our ancestors.
Instead of giving us what we can fin in the source. If we have to select. Birth, Marriage, death, census etc it's will be more helpful for user of FamilySearch to know without opening each source to know what they can find.
