I find that edits using this function not only modifies the transcript but also impacts FTS results

Anyone else see the edits I made to this query changing the phrase to "utterly worthless"? Was originally "utterly northlen"

@David A Wilson I must admit I'm conflicted about this. Has the potential to make the search results better for everyone by addressing transcription errors in given or surnames, place names etc…. but if not carefully considered, a change could really 'mess things up' when it comes to Full Text Search results. Guess I've had to unravel too many errant merges in the Family Tree

A bit much to ask at this point, but does a transcription need a 'Latest Changes' section? Would show info about initial generation of text, followed by subsequent edits [either by algorithm or individuals]

When using this function I am prompted to click on the desired word within the transcript to edit. This opens the 'Edit' window showing the currently saved transcribed text. It would be helpful if when clicking on the text to be corrected that the corresponding portion of the image would be highlighted.

I sent similar comment. It is difficult to match the original text with the edit. It would be very helpful to be able to tell where the text being edited is located on the original text.
