Feedback on New Homepage

The "feedback" button doesn't work (using Firefox on Windows 10) even with popups allowed. Should also be in a menu location rather than that little thing on the side. Better design.

It's impossible to dismiss hints and memories. (What I WISH is to be able to filter out hints and memories based on degrees of kinship — I keep seeing stuff about distant collaterals and have no idea who they even are!) Also to be able to dismiss items because they're for a wrong person who isn't connected to my tree at all. I used to be able to dismiss irrelevant things and now I'm stuck with them.

Would actually like to be able to set site so I go to my tree first thing.

There is a dedicated group for feedback on the New Home Page. The developers read and act on any problems.

Unfortunately, the FS Feedback button is very sensitive to any pop-up or ad blockers. Also MalwareBytes BrowserGuard can block the Feedback button. You'll find many threads on the topic here in the FS Community.

I use FS more often for search, so have it set to open in Search. You can bookmark any part of the site you prefer, including your section of the FS Tree, and have that open first.

It is the same issue on Safari on MacOS Sequoia 15.6 as I supposedly have pop-ups blocked but that is not the case.

Just for more input, I'm running Windows 10, with Microsoft Edge, and the feedback button is functioning properly for me. As for the browser, I have no ad-blocking or pop-up blocking on it, and am running InPrivate (much like Incognito for Chrome).
