I have two Church accounts – need to connect my membership number to the correct one

Hi, I need help with my FamilySearch accounts.
I have an old account that is connected to my Church membership number, but it doesn’t have my memories, notes, or family work. On the other hand, I have a newer account where I’ve saved all my memories and information, but it’s not connected to my membership number.

I tried to remove the membership number from the old account, but it won’t let me. And without the number on my new account, I can’t do anything related to temple ordinances.

Is there a way to move my membership number to my current account or merge both accounts? I’d like to keep using the one where all my work is saved, but I also need access to temple features. - Or is there a way to export or move memories from the new account to the old one? Im more concerned about the annotations I have in the Gospel Library App (they are a lot ) and would like to keep them.

The normal way this is done is to delete the account with your membership number which then can be added to your newer account. There are no provisions to merge accounts or easily move items from one account to another. There are somethings to be aware of before you delete your member account. See the link

Once you delete your member account, you can add your member number to your newer accont. Hope this helps.
