When adding a set of memories is it chronological or reversed?
I would love to add photos some with stories attached to them. So that it makes sense to other viewers, do I try to get them in which order? Is .jpg or .png best? If the photo has a story to along with it should I do a PDF?
I know that this is a lot of questions for one post. Hopefully since they are closely related I have not violated any etiquette rules
Thanks much.

Hello @MicheleRyals I'm far from being an expert on FS but here's my experience when dealing with memories. I don't know which photo format is best to use - to date I've only used .jpg files. NB if a photo is in the .pdf format one can still tag people but unlike with a .jpg file one can't highlight the person within the photo.
As for the order, I've found that the uploaded memories are automatically sorted in date order.
For stories, there are three ways depending on the length of text. There is a description box for each memory. There is equally the ability to add comments - one or several. However, I don't know the maximum number of characters allowed. The third option is to write the story using the FS story box - press Add Memories, a menu drops down giving three choices, choose the option Write.
Even with the same date I've found that texts are placed before the photos, but PDF placed after; though in some cases I've got around this by playing with precise dates, or even writing the word 'after' - eg to present the death certificate and photo of the grave stone in the right order, the death certificate in PDF is dated May 1961, and the photo of the grave stone in JPG dated as after May 1961.
Another way is to link the memory photo to a story - open the photo in memory and click on the text symbol found upper right of the screen.
Hopefully, the above is clear. I've only found all this by experimenting and maybe other FS users will reply to your query with more precise information.
Regards

There are lots of ways I have seen people order their information…I hope others can share their thoughts as well.
I wanted to address the Story+Image situation. I would recommend writing your story and adding an image in a computer document first. Then make it a pdf, which you can upload easily. This way, you can create your story and put the image exactly where you want it, or use multiple images, and your computer document will help you check spelling, etc. I just find the pdf stories are much easier to work with.
You can use FamilySearch's story maker and add images, but sometimes it comes with a few problems.
Also, I would suggest organizing your Memories/Stories into appropriate Albums in your Gallery. FamilySearch has made it possible for you to organize the Memories in your Albums in whatever order you want (Go into an Album / Click Edit / Then drag and drop to reorder)….but I found sometimes I have to "Refresh" my browser before it will accept the reorder.
Hope these thoughts help!
